Direct Billing

Direct billing is a convenient way to manage your payments. Instead of paying for your services upfront and seeking reimbursement from your insurance company later, we handle the billing process directly with your insurance provider.


We are currently accepting ICBC patients for acupuncture treatments through direct billing.

Important Notes:

  • We are not currently accepting WorksafeBC patients and do not offer direct billing to MSP.

  • We offer direct billing for most insurance companies for massage therapy, osteopathy, and medical acupuncture treatments (excluding laser and cosmetic facial acupuncture)

  • The following insurance providers do not allow direct billing for certain services. Please keep this in mind when booking:

    • Acupuncture - Empire life

    • Osteopathy - Sunlife, Pacific Blue Cross, Canada Life, RWAN and Empire Life

 Direct billing is not guaranteed for every appointment due to factors such as individual insurance plans, portal issues, or clinic administration considerations. Coverage varies based on individual insurance carriers and policies. Patients can find details in their insurance policy booklet or by contacting their company's HR department.

 In the event that the insurance portal is inaccessible on your appointment day, we will bill you the full amount. Depending on the cause of the outage, we will either facilitate direct reimbursement or guide you through submitting the claim once the portal is back online.
